When was the last time you made 20 contacts at a networking event? The Ventura Chamber of Commerce’s 5 Minute Networking event is held on the third Tuesday of the month from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Please be checked in by 11:20 am. Make your reservations online by going to the Chamber’s website – www.venturachamber.com – click on the “5 Minute Networking” icon (in red in the lower right-hand corner) and follow the prompts. You will need to call the office with a credit card number as the 5-Minute Networking program is not compatible with our Web site for accepting credit cards. Or, checks and cash are accepted at check in.
When you come to the event, bring small marketing materials to help promote yourself and your business and bring PLENTY of business cards.
To make the most of your five minutes, speak clearly, state what you do in a concise manner, give and receive referrals and follow up! And then, follow up more.
