Co-founders of 5 Minute Networking Nominated for the Orange County Business Journal's "Women in Business" Award

Excerpt from the Orange County Business Journal

[Sonia and Melissa] English [have] turned a new idea for networking into a national phenomena in just eight short months. Not only has [their company] 5 Minute Networking become a recognized local brand, but [they have] become a well-known name in the business networking community.

The company has already created an Event Facilitation Software to license to Chambers of Commerce, associations, and corporations for team building events. The Irvine Chamber was the first in OC to license the software.

5 Minute Networking created a forum for business networking that is fast, efficient, and business friendly. [They carry] that over to the non-profit sector as well. Last March, the fledgling company co-sponsored an event with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Orange County.

[Both women] also took part in Orange County's Largest Mixer and Women's Business Series, and will be featured in the August 2005 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine.
